I created Hearth & Home Pet Concierge to offer a level of care rooted in calm routines, individualized attention, and a concierge‑style experience for pets and their families.

I have been trained at Ark Veterinary Hospital in pilling dogs and cats (with cats being the true Olympic challenge), safe pill‑popper techniques, injection administration under veterinary supervision, and subcutaneous fluid support. I am becoming certified through the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) and am fully insured and bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas, providing families with confidence and peace of mind.

I’ve worn many hats throughout my career — finance, customer service, writing, editing, and full‑time motherhood — and each one shapes the way I care for pets and support their families today. I often joke with my three grown sons that as they need me less, I simply replace them with dogs — a running family joke that reflects how naturally pet care has become part of my life.

My philosophy is simple: pets thrive when their routines feel familiar, predictable, and kind. Whether I’m walking a senior dog who prefers a slow, sniff‑focused mile, caring for a couch‑potato pup who loves driveway sunbathing, or supporting a pet with chronic medical needs, I meet each animal exactly where they are.
